How Cats Vocalize

Cats vocalize for a variety of reasons. You will likely pay a lot more attention if you live with a particularly quiet cat, because it’s unusual to hear from her. But all cats use vocalization to make their needs known,
whether it’s through purring, meowing, or chattering. Some can’t wait to talk to you when you come home. And they’re just as happy to hear about your day as to tell you about theirs.
